Dr. Ken Nakamura is a chiropractor practicing at our clinic in downtown Toronto. He attended University specializing in Biology as a stepping stone to pursue his goal of becoming a healthcare professional.
After three years of undergraduate study he went to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. After seven years of post-graduate school he graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic.
While practicing as a chiropractor, Dr. Ken continued his education and was awarded his acupuncture designation through the Acupuncture Foundation Institute of Canada.
It has been eighteen years since he graduated from chiropractic college and he still continues to take post-graduate education spending hundreds of hours per year on seminars and research of various conditions to help get his patients better.
In his pursuit to always improve his treatments for his patients Dr. Ken was chosen as:
- Attending Chiropractor for Judo Ontario Tournaments
- British Team Chiropractor for European Veterans Athletic Championships
- Chiropractor for The North American Police Soccer Championships
Dr. Ken uses an individualized program called the C3 Program; a program of care tailored for each patient’s specific conditions and body types. Dr. Ken has a unique approach to patient care combining evidence-based treatments with his C3 Program. His objective is to use the tools that are most effective for every patient he treats. His approach includes the use of:

Dr. Ken is an athlete. He has his Nidan (second-degree black-belt) in Judo, was an Ontario Champion six times, and even managed to get a bronze medal at the Canadian Championships. He has also run two marathons with a personal best time of 3:34.
Dr. Ken is a father, spouse, chiropractor and he loves helping people. His goal is to see a change in his patient’s first visit. While a switch in how you feel isn’t always guaranteed on the very first visit, Dr. Ken works hard to achieve this goal by constantly re-assessing his patient’s after performing treatments and multiple times throughout a session.
