- Special Interest in Dance & Theatre Arts Related Injuries
Maggie is a graduate of the Georgian College Massage Therapy program and is a registered member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Maggie is also a graduate of The School of Toronto Dance Theatre in 2020 and works as a contemporary dance artist based in Toronto. Her time as a dancer has allowed her to experience how impactful massage therapy can be in recovering from injury, staying healthy through training, and simply maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
Maggie’s background in dance and understanding of movement offered her a natural transition to becoming an RMT. She understands how demanding our passions can be on our bodies and listens to her client’s needs to provide effective treatments. Maggie incorporates trigger point therapy, neuromuscular techniques, myofascial release techniques, joint mobilizations, and various forms of movement and stretching in her treatments. In collaboration with her client, she develops an individualized and realistic homecare plan to best meet her client’s goals.
In her free time, Maggie enjoys baking and taking her dachshund on new adventures through the city!
