Sarah is a graduate from the University of Toronto with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. She previously earned her Honours Bachelor of Science with Specialization in Human Kinetics in 2013 from the University of Ottawa.
During Sarah’s academic years, she gravitated towards the world of life sciences and research. This gave her to have a lasting appreciation for the importance of sound research-based practices in everyday healthcare. She also pursued various volunteer opportunities within her community, from working with the Canadian Cancer Society to The Ottawa Mission homeless shelter. Sarah’s desire to integrate her passion for science and affinity for helping others led her to pursue a career in physiotherapy.
Sarah has had the joy of working with a wide variety of individuals of different ages, backgrounds, and fitness abilities. Starting with a thorough assessment and diagnosis, Sarah will create a tailored treatment plan using a holistic healthcare approach. She has taken various courses in manual therapy, soft tissue release, neurokinetic therapy, sport-injury taping, and intends on furthering her training in advanced orthopaedic physiotherapy.
Sarah is a dedicated physiotherapist who is motivated daily by seeing her patients achieve their health-related goals. She prides herself on creating an enjoyable and interactive clinical environment that helps deliver maximum results in a timely manner (in other words, less pain and more gain!).
During her free time, Sarah enjoys a variety of activities such as travelling, trying new restaurants, working out, and cooking.
