Jasmit has extensive experience working with diverse demographics, including children, youth, athletes, adults, and older adults. She treats a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries, including acute and chronic conditions such as sprains/strains, sports injuries, tendinopathies, low back pain and neck pain. She provides treatment for orthopedic injuries and has specialized training in pelvic health physiotherapy.
She employs an evidence-based, patient-centered approach to treatment, combining manual therapy, education, and tailored exercise programs to optimize her patient’s recovery and wellness. She is an advocate for promoting holistic well-being. She firmly believes that preventing injuries and maintaining a robust and active lifestyle is just as crucial as rehabilitation. She makes it a mission to educate individuals about the significance of sustaining a healthy and active way of life and empowering them to achieve their optimal well-being. She forms strong partnerships with her patients, ensuring they understand their bodies and feel confident in their journey toward recovery.
Passionate about continuous professional growth, Jasmit is keen on achieving her FCAMPT designation, completing advanced certifications in pelvic health and pregnancy and further expanding her skills through acupuncture/dry needling.
In her free time, you can find Jasmit baking, hiking with her dog, spending time with her family and friends and volunteering to teach students in the Master of Science in Physical Therapy program at the University of Toronto.
