You will not need a referral from your doctor to be assessed and fitted for a brace with your registered physiotherapist or chiropractor. However, some insurance companies do require a doctor’s note in order to reimburse you for the cost of the brace.
We encourage you to call your insurance provider to determine if your brace will be covered by your plan.
