You will learn how to adjust your workstation to suit your specific body, you will understand specific vulnerabilities that exist for you in your work environment and will learn how to make simple adaptations to relieve pain or avoid future issues. We guarantee, you will find this exercise worthwhile and will be able to implement changes right away allowing your body to feel good so you can do the work you need to. And now, with our virtual service options, it’s easier than ever to connect with one of our ergonomic specialists. You have nothing to lose and so much to gain.

Our professional team of ergonomists are dedicated to improving your productivity, performance and your overall wellness while at work. Our services are geared to individuals who spend hours a day working at a desk or in front of a computer. Whether the job consists of a single workplace assessment or a full scale workplace evaluation – we offer a variety of ergonomic services to suit whatever your specific needs may be.

Virtual Ergonomic Assessment + Report

Meet one of our specialized ergonomists remotely, from the comfort of your home or work office. The ergonomist will analyze your workstation while considering your symptoms, your posture, your tasks and risk factors.

The ergonomist will ask you to demonstrate specific key views of your workstation and/or require that you provide digital photos so they can immerse themselves in your workspace. Once the assessment is complete, the ergonomist will guide you to make adjustments to your workstation including but not limited to the following: (1) chair, (2) keyboard, (3) monitor, (4) document position and (5) lighting and glare.

During your session, they will provide invaluable education to help you understand your body better. They will bring awareness to habits and postures that you frequently adopt while at work that increase your vulnerability in your workspace. They will teach you how to monitor your body through your work day and make adjustments accordingly. They will also teach you about optimal posture/spine alignment and provide you with individualized stretches, movements or exercises to do while at the office to alleviate vulnerable body parts.

Shortly after your assessment, you will receive a comprehensive written report of the assessment findings with detailed recommendations for workstation set up improvements.

The recommendations will include the following:

  • Suggestions for any equipment change including specific product recommendation
  • Suggestions for any furniture change
  • Suggestions for use of good work habits
  • Suggestions for task organization

The report will also indicate where you may purchase the recommended products. Rebalance Sports Medicine is not affiliated with any supplier but suggests quality suppliers based on our experience in the industry.

On- Site Ergonomic Assessment + Report

Our specialized ergonomist will travel to your office space to evaluate your current workstation set up. The ergonomist will analyze your workstation while considering your symptoms, your posture, your tasks and risk factors.

Once the assessment is complete, the ergonomist will make adjustments to your workstation including but not limited to the following: (1) chair, (2) keyboard, (3) monitor, (4) document position and (5) lighting and glare.

On-site or Virtual Ergonomic Follow Up

Once your new equipment arrives, our ergonomist can return onsite or remotely to your office and help you optimize the set-up of your new products. One of the most important aspects of ergonomically sound office design is the positioning of your equipment and furniture to suit the space, your body and your specific tasks.

Poor positioning of ergonomically designed products is one of the most common errors that our ergonomists encounter in the workstations that they assess. For example, you may own the most ergonomically sound keyboard but if it is not placed appropriately, it can still lead to strain and injury.

Scheduling a follow-up session with our ergonomist is highly recommended as they will help to position your new products for you and will re-assess your work space to ensure that you have the most optimal workstation set up. This will also give you an opportunity to explain to the ergonomist how your body feels with the new changes that have been implemented and address any issues or concerns that may arise.

Ergonomic Education Webinars & In-Person Seminars

Designed for teams of all sizes, we offer interactive education webinars to give your teams the confidence to evaluate their own work environment and apply ergonomic principles to their work stations. This interactive webinar will cover a variety of topics and can be adjusted to suit the specific needs of your employees. Key topics include:

  • Identifying healthy postures in the office
  • Building awareness in order to identify common habits and poor postures at work
  • Learning to use home furnishings and available office supplies to create an ergonomically sound workspace
  • Reviewing healthy movements including strength and stretch breaks for the office

After the presentation, employees will feel confident in making general changes to their workstation and will have a greater understanding of injury prevention principles specifically relating to office workers.

Corporate Ergonomic Services

We also offer large scale workplace evaluations whether you are looking for consultation services to guide your office space build out or if you are looking for offering workspace evaluations to your entire team to support a preventative, health focused culture within your team. Please contact us to provide your ergonomic requirements and to get a quote for your team.
