Sarah is a Registered Psychotherapist at Rebalance Sports Medicine in Downtown, Toronto. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Michigan – Dearborn while obtaining an athletic scholarship to pursue her dream of playing college Softball. Shortly after, she completed her Masters in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. Sarah’s passion for supporting others led her into a career where she can provide support to those who may be facing challenges in their life.
Sarah’s therapeutic approach is Person-Centered and Strengths-Based, where she draws from various modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based interventions. Alongside her experience in high-performance sports and her clinical experience, she welcomes any current or former athletes.
Sarah believes in taking a collaborative and goal-oriented approach in therapy. The therapeutic alliance is at the forefront of her practice, where she strives to create a treatment plan that is unique to her clients’ experiences.
