Jenny is a pilates instructor, certified in both Stott Pilates and Power Pilates for all Apparatus.
Jenny has enjoyed being physically active from training for track and field, and involved in team sports from a young age. With a background in spinning, strength training, TRX and yoga, Jenny has experienced many different types of body movement. It was a back strain that led her to seek out Pilates, and the more she learned about Pilates, the more she found that it contained many of the foundational building blocks for dynamic body movement that the majority of other forms of exercise were lacking.
Jenny has completed two highly regarded and rigorous Pilates certifications, as well as having years of experience teaching group classes and private sessions. She has worked with a diverse range of clients – from those who seek injury recovery, postural alignment, pre/post-natal, and athletic training. With her detailed eye and the ability to draw from both contemporary rehabilitative Pilates and classical Pilates, Jenny successfully works with clients to progress them to their next level of body awareness and alignment, core engagement and modifying towards optimal movement patterns. Jenny is always looking to build and deepen her existing knowledge of Pilates and body movement by attending workshops and collaborating with health care providers.
Outside of the clinic, Jenny enjoys experiencing different ways of moving, tasting the variety of cuisines the city has to offer, traveling to coastal areas for scuba diving, and spending time with friends and family.
