Sergiu is a Registered Physiotherapist at Rebalance Sports Medicine’s Yonge & Adelaide location. He earned a Bachelor’s in Bio-Medical Science and a Master of Science in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences from the University of Guelph, followed by a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Grounded in a strong academic foundation, Sergiu delivers an evidence-based approach that combines hands-on manual therapy, soft-tissue release, and progressive exercise prescription to support long-term recovery, strength, and functional performance.
Sergiu enjoys working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from injury, managing persistent pain, and athletes seeking to optimize performance. He has an interest in sports-related injuries and brings firsthand experience from snowboarding, weightlifting, and competitive volleyball to rehabilitation. Sergiu draws on his personal experiences with competitive training and injury recovery to shape a patient-centred approach that restores movement, builds strength, and helps patients confidently return to their activities.
Outside the clinic, you’ll likely find Sergiu in the gym or at a coffee shop, enjoying his “last” coffee of the day.
