Sophie holds a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto, following her Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa. Throughout her academic and professional journey, Sophie has been fortunate to engage with diverse patient populations across various rehabilitation environments. She has gained invaluable experience in virtual rehabilitation, acute hospital care (specializing in post-cardiac & multi-organ transplant surgeries), home healthcare, pediatric clinics and neurological rehabilitation centers, finding each experience profoundly fulfilling.
In her clinical practice, Sophie adopts a holistic approach, blending manual therapy techniques, medical acupuncture, dry needling, targeted exercises and patient education. She customizes every treatment plan to meet the unique needs of her patients. Sophie’s areas of passion and specialization includes pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, management of low back pain, as well as knee and hip injuries.
Having navigated her own journey as a competitive figure skater, Sophie intimately understands the significance of quality physiotherapy. Her personal experiences with injuries have fueled her commitment to empathetically understanding her patients’ needs, aiming to facilitate their return to the activities they cherish.
