Dr. Morgan Winton is a Naturopathic Doctor practicing in downtown Toronto. She graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo in 1998. She continued her education to receive her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2003. Morgan also completed her Therapeutics Prescribing course in 2013 which allows her to prescribe a narrow range of pharmaceuticals including dessicated thyroid and bioidentical hormones in Ontario.
Morgan is currently a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, as well as the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She is licensed through the College of Naturopaths of Ontario. Morgan enjoys teaching and taking an active role in her profession. She was previously both an instructor at Kikkawa college where she taught Anatomy to massage therapy students and sat on the executive board of the Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors.
Morgan uses acupuncture, clinical nutrition, herbal medicine, vitamins, homeopathy, and basic lifestyle modification to help her patients achieve optimal health.
Morgan enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions, from anxiety to digestive issues to infertility. Her treatment philosophy involves re-balancing the body so that it can heal on its own. She believes that Naturopathic Medicine should be an option for everyone and does not have to include alternative foods and expensive supplements.
