Tiara completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Brock University with human anatomy and biomechanics being her favourite courses. She is a certified personal trainer as well as an athletic performance coach. She has been a competitive athlete in rugby, field hockey, and Olympic weightlifting and has experienced countless injuries which helps her to understand and facilitate the rehabilitation process for her patients. Tiara understands how pain and injury can impact the body as a whole, and takes a multifaceted approach to ensure optimal recovery.
Tiara enjoys treating a wide variety of injuries. She is experienced with treating a wide range of conditions, including overuse & sport injuries, postural dysfunction, concussions, and post-operative care. Tiara uses several modalities, including deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, neurokinetic therapy, joint mobilizations, dynamic release techniques, neurofunctional acupuncture, and dry needling to promote healing and relieve tension. Tiara believes in an active approach to treatment and will use Neurokinetic therapy & exercise prescription as an assessment to discern the best course of action for a patient’s treatment plan.
When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her reading, travelling & hiking mountains, or doing a WOD at CrossFit.
