We will be offering FREE 1-hour Hatha and Slow Flow Yoga Classes from 6pm to 7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the months of November and December.
Yoga means “yoke” or “union” as in the union of breath and movement. It is a series of postures meant to challenge the physical body and calm the mind. Yoga introduces movement in all planes. This is especially helpful for our modern lifestyle which tends to encourage mostly flexion and a lot of sitting. Increased body awareness, enhanced strength and mental clarity are just a few of the vase array of benefits to be gained from yoga practice.
Space is limited to 10 participants so be sure to sign up in advance! You can reserve your spot by phone, email or in person.
There is no cost for these classes however we ask that you bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the local food bank.
Please bring your yoga mat and arrive 10 minutes early to get set up.
